युवा श्रमिकों की लॉकडाउन पीढ़ी – एक नए अध्ययन के अनुसार, पूरे विश्व में युवा कामागारों, अौर  नौकरी करने वालों  पर COVID -19 का बेहद खराब असर पङा है। पाया गया है कि युवा महिलाएँ ज्यादा प्रभावित हुई हैं। छह में से एक से अधिक युवाओं ने महामारी की शुरुआत के बाद से काम करना बंद कर दिया है।

 इस शोध के अनुसार, लॉकडाउन पीढ़ी को अतिरिक्त मदद की आवश्यकता होगी।

अगर  उनकी स्थिति में सुधार के लिए  तत्काल कार्रवाई नहीं की गई। तब इसका  खामियाज़ा  दशकों  तक झेलना पङ सकता है। यह  पोस्ट-कोविङ अर्थव्यवस्था को  भी बुरी तरह से प्रभावित करेगा।
