lord krishna – greatest counsellor of the universe

The Mahabharata was a dynastic succession struggle between two groups of cousins – Kauravas and Pandavas, for the throne. Pandava Arjuna was confused in the war field. All the enemies were his own relatives, friends and family . He asked Krishna for divine advice. Krishna, advised him of his duty. After a long counselling session Krishna convinced Arjun . This was a war of good on the evil

This counselling of Krishna is known as Gita/ Bhagvat Gita, most religious, philosophical and holy scripture of the Hindu religion .

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥ २-४७

Karmanye vadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,
Ma Karmaphalaheturbhurma Te Sangostvakarmani

(You have the right to work only but never to its fruits. Let not the fruits of action be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction. )
