धर्म ना मानो तो मुश्किल,

मेरा धर्म न मानो तो भी मुश्किल,

पता नहीं गीता, रामायण, कुरान, बाइबल..

किसने कहा  भगवान अलग-अलग हैं?

लेकिन  लगता है हम उन्हें अलग करके ही मानेंगे!

क्या हम इस सीमा से आगे यह नहीं सोंच सकते हैं कि

हम इंसान हैं.

A tourist visited a Sufi saint.
He was astonished to see that the Sufi’s home was a simple room.
The only furniture was a mat and a kerosene lamp.
Tourist : “Sufi, where’s your furniture?”
Sufi : “Where is yours?”

( मान्यता हैं कि वृंदावन , वाराणसी आदि में शरीर त्यागने से मोक्ष के प्राप्त होती हैं. इसलिये प्रायः इन स्थानों पर विधवायें आ कर सात्विक जीवन बसर करती हैं अौर अपने मृत्यु का इंतजार करती हैं। यहाँ इन्हें अनेकों बंधनों के बीच जीवन व्यतीत करना पड़ता हैं। इस वर्ष (2016) पहली बार होली खेलने के लिये कुछ मंदिरों ने अपने द्वार इन विधवाओं के लिये खोल दिये. )

वृंदावन और कान्हा की मुरली
सब जानते हैं।
वृंदावन की होली
सब जानते हैं।
पर वहाँ कृष्ण को याद करती
सफेदी में लिपटी विधवाओ की टोली
किसने देखी हैं ?
आज़ जब पहली बार
उन्हों ने खेली फूलों की होली।
सफेदी सज गई गुलाबो की लाली से
कहीँ बज उठी कान्हा की मुरली
उनकी उदास साँसो से।

कभी-कभी  राहों मे,

खो जाना भी अच्छा है,

कुछ सुंदर नये रास्तों को पाने के लिए ।

खोये  बिना कुछ पाया नहीं  जा सकता।

अपने आप को भी भूल जाना

कभी-कभी अच्छा है

बहुत कुछ नया पाने के लिए।

My research work was based on ‘educated Indian women’.  I met 400+  women and applied various Psychological tests and questionnaire on them.  

Many of them shared their stories and sorrows with me . It took me to an entire different world. A Hidden World !!!  as our society’s taboos do not allow them to openly  discuss their issues………. 

In the changing social scenario, I feel, still things have not changed much for them. Can we progress by leaving almost,  fifty percent of god’s best creation  behind??

मेरे पी एचङी यानि शोध  के अध्ययन  का विषय ‘भारतीय पढ़ी लिखी महिलाएं’  थीं। इस काम के लिए मैं 400 से ज्यादा महिलाओं से मिली और उनके बहुत से मनोवैज्ञानिक टेस्ट लिये।  मेरी नज़रों के  सामने महिलाओं की दुनिया का एक नया नजारा आया। अक्सर हम ऊपर से दिख रही  दुनिया को ही सच  मानते हैं, पर जब सच्चाई की चादर हटती है तो बहुत से दर्द अौर तकलीफ भरी बातें नजरों के सामने आती है। जिन्हें कहने के लिये मेरे पास शब्द कम पङते हैं।

उन की जिंदगी की कहानियाँ सुनी। जिसे वे समाज के  बंदिशों की वजह से बताने में हिचकिचाती हैं। मेरे इस ब्लॉग के लगभग सारे पोस्ट महिलाअों की सच्ची कहानियां या अनुभव से प्रेरित है। अौर कुछ मेरे अनुभव है मेरी जिंदगी के । आप उस दर्द को कविताअों और कहानियों में महसूस कर सकते हैं।

दुनिया तेजी से बदल रही है, पर मुझे आज भी महिलाअों की स्थिती में ज्यादा बदलाव नज़र नहीं आता है।  मैं  यह कभी नहीं समझ पाती हूँ कि अपनी  लगभग, आधी आबादी को…… ईश्वर की सर्वोत्तम कृति को पीछे छोङ कर कितना आगे जा सकते हैं हम ????

 

वह कौन थी?

जिन्दगी में उलझी-उलझी

सब कुछ सुलझाने की कोशिश में,

बहुत कुछ झेलती हुई

जिन्दगी के सैकङो रंगों से खेलती हुई

खङी

कुछ परेशान, कुछ हताश,

फिर भी हँसती सी।

वह कौन है?

ख्वाबों ख्यालों ख्वाहिशों  से

बहुत आगे आ चुकी है जिंदगी।

गुनगुनाती सुबहें अौर शाम की

बस कुछ खुमारी बची है।

जिंदगी की जिम्मरदारियों ने,

वक्त के साथ क्या-क्या  बदल दिया?

अब तो अपने आप से बातें करने के लिए भी,

वक्त से इजाजत लेनी पड़ती है।

पर अभी भी  नही बदलीं हैं,

तो हसरतें अौर हज़ारों ख्वाहिशें…………..
