वर्षा सी बरसती,
अर्ध खुली भीगी आँखों के
गीले पलको के चिलमन से
कभी कभी दुनियाइंद्रधनुष सी,
सतरंगी दिखती है.
आँखों के खुलते ही सारे
इंद्रधनुष के रंग बिखर जाते हैं.
ख़्वाबों का पीछा करती
ज़िंदगी कुछ ऐसी हीं होतीं.

ना जाने क्यों, कभी-कभी पुरानी यादें दरवाजे की दहलीज से आवाज़ देने लगती हैं।

एक टुकड़ा ज़िंदगी का
बानगी है पूरे जीवन के
जद्दोजहद का.
उठते – गिरते, हँसते-रोते
कभी पूरी , कभी स्लाइसों
में कटी ज़िंदगी
जीते हुए कट हीं जाती है .
इसलिए मन की बातें
और अरमानों के
पल भी जी लेने चाहिये.
ताकि अफ़सोस ना रहे
अधूरे हसरतों ….तमन्नाओं …. की.

कभी नहीं चाहा तुम्हें यादों में याद करें.
पर क्या यादों …चाहतों…पर है ज़ोर किसी का?
