अंधकार में डूबते

ढलते सूरज से कहा

इतनी जल्दी क्या है जाने की ?

उसने मायूसी से जवाब दिया –

आज उम्र….ज़िंदगी जी ली ,

ढलने का समय आ गया है.

ठंडी, बहती बयार ने कहा –

उम्र तो मात्र गिनती है और

ढलना भी शाश्वत सत्य है.

इनायत से ….नफ़ासत…..से

उम्र औ ज़िंदगी जी लो .

ढलने का ग़म क्या करना ?

वह घोंसला…

अब सूना था .

नन्हें किलकते बच्चे ,

पंख निकलते उड़ गए

किसी अनजानी दिशा में.

इंसानों के हों या परिंदों के.

रह गए कुछ सूखे पत्ते

कुछ नन्हें पंख ……

कुछ पुरानी किताबें

कुछ तस्वीरें …….

I want that love that moved the mountains. 
I want that love that split the ocean. 
I want that love that made the winds tremble. 
I want that love that roared like thunder. 
I want that love that will raise the dead. 
I want that love that lifts us to ecstasy.
