खुले दरवाजे, शीशे की अजनबी दीवारें, खिड़कियाँ
आसमान छूने की चाहत छोड़,
कैद कर लिया है अपने को,
अपनी जिंदगी को,
खुले दरवाजे और शीशे की कुछ अजनबी दीवारों, खिड़कियों में।
जैसे बंद पड़ी किताबें,
कांच की अलमारी से झांकती हैं अपने को महफ़ुज मान,
पन्नों में अपनी दास्तानों को कैद कर।
अब खाली पन्नों पर,
अपने लफ्ज़ों को उतार
रश्म-ए-रिहाई की नाकाम कोशिश कर रहें हैं।
जिंदगी के रंग- 189
जब जिंदगी से कोई आजाद होता है,
किसी और को यादों की कैद दे जाता है.
सीखना चाह रहे हैं कैद में रहकर आजाद होना।
काँच के चश्मे में कैद आँखों के आँसू ..अश्कों की तरह.
सैलाब
गीले आँखों से बरसते सैलाब को
देख जाती हुई बारिस ने भी
रुक कर साथ देना तय कर लिया है.

जिंदगी के रंग-188
अपने हों, हवा-ए-फिजा, उड़ता धुँआ या धुंध हो।
जिनके रुख का पता हीं ना हो ,
उन्हें परखने की कोशिश बेकार है ।
क्यों नहीं आज़माना है,
तब्सिरा….. समिक्षा करनी है अपनी?
ईमानदारी से झाँकों अपने अंदर,
या मेरे अंदर…… .आईने ने कहा।
सारे जवाब मिल जायेंगें।
गुमान
गुमान था अपनी फोटोग्राफिक स्मृति पर,
जो देखा उसे याद रखने की फोटो स्मृति क़ाबिलीयत पर,
ना भूलने की क्षमता पर,
फिर देखा अपनी ताकत ही अपनी कमजोरी बनते।
अब लड़ रहे हैं अपने आप से
अपनी यादों से, याददाश्त से,
किसी को विदा किए पलों को,
एक दिन, इक तारीख को भूलने की कोशिश में।
Over 8.8 lakh deaths — India on top in UNICEF report on under-5 child mortality in 2018
ये कहाँ जा रहे हैं हम ?
New Delhi: In 2018, India reported the highest number of deaths of children aged below 5 years, a UNICEF report released Wednesday said.
India reported 8,82,000 child deaths, followed by Nigeria with 8,66,000 deaths and Pakistan with 4,09,000. However, the report said, the median under-five mortality rate per 1,000 live births in India is 37, while the figure is 120 for Nigeria and 69 for Pakistan.
Titled ‘The State of the World’s Children (SOWC)’, the report also stated that around 38 per cent Indian children under the age of five years suffer from stunting. There is also a state-wise disparity as “almost half of children are stunted in the worst-affected state compared with a fifth in the least-affected state”.
