It is an anthology, edited by Meenakshi M Singh. The intent of this book is to empower women’s voice through the potent medium of poetry.   My five poems are published  in the Hindi section of the book.

                                                 

    स्त्री – एक शक्ति

यह मीनाक्षी सिंह द्वारा संकलित एक काव्य संग्रह है। यह   संकलन  महिलाअों के आवाजों की अभिव्यक्ति कविता के माध्यम कर रही है।  जिसमें 124 कवि अौर कवित्रियों ने 300 कवितायों में  अपने विचारों को अभिव्यक्त कियें है।  मेरी पाँच कवितायों को भी इसमें शामिल कर मुझे सम्मानित किया गया है।

आँसू और अफीम – कविता 

Opium addiction in Rajasthan, India :  A social Issue —- Poppy flowers are  very beautiful and delicate.  Opium is produced from it.  India  is the only country ,   produces opium gum legally  and one of very few countries that legally allows  growing poppy  to get opium for medicinal purpose.

But the negative aspect is – drug trafficking  and opium  addiction, As no. of  opium   users  are increasing day by day, specially in Rajasthan.

 

पेड़ की छाया में बैठे पुरुषों की 

अफीम की पिनक में डूबी मजलिस ने,

गुङगुङाते हुक्के का धुआँ उडाते हुए दूर ….. देखा………..

रंग बिरंगे ,  शीशे जड़े लहँगें-चोली  में मीलों से

 तपती  रेत पर, ठंडे  पानी के

घड़े  एक पर एक  रख 

गाती गुनगुनाती औरतों को.

अौर  कहा – 

 इन लुगाईयों के मजे तो  देखो ,

गीत गा रहीं है , ना दिखता है

 हम कब से भूखे बैठे है ……

पर क्या उन्हे दिखता है लुगाईयों के 

 गर्म रेत से पड़े पैरों के छालें 

और चूल्हे की लकड़ी से उठे धुयें से आये आँसू  ???

  फ़िर भी …..

वे पॉपी के फूलों सी नाजुक  अौरतें

 गाती गुनगुनाती रहती है …..

राजस्थान, भारत में अफीम की लत: एक सामाजिक मुद्दा है —-पॉपी के फूल बङे नाजुक अौर सुंदर होते हैं। इसे अफिम तैयार किया जाता है।   भारत एकमात्र देश है जो कानूनी तौर पर अफीम गम का उत्पादन करता है । यह उन गिनती के  देशों में से एक है, जो कानूनी रूप से औषधीय उद्देश्य के लिए  अफीम प्राप्त करने के  लिये पॉपी की  खेती की अनुमति देता है।

लेकिन नकारात्मक पहलू है – अफीम की तस्करी और  दिन पर दिन   नशेङियोँ कि संख्या में वृद्धि।

आत्म प्रेरणा से अपना व्यक्तित्व निखारे #मनोविज्ञान Self-improvement by autosuggestion

Auto suggestion – A process by which an individual may train subconscious mind for self- improvement.

यह एक मनोवैज्ञानिक तकनीक है. आत्म प्रेरित सुझाव विचारों, भावनाओं और व्यवहारोँ को प्रभावित करता हैँ. किसी बात को बारबार दोहरा कर अपने व्यवहार को सुधारा जा सकता है.

अपनी कमियाँ और परेशानियाँ हम सभी को दुखी करती हैँ. हम सभी इस में बदलाव या सुधार चाह्ते हैँ और जीवन मेँ सफलता चाहतेँ हैँ. किसी आदत को बदलना हो, बीमारी को नियंत्रित करने में अक्षम महसुस करतेँ होँ, परीक्षा या साक्षात्कार में सफलता चाह्तेँ हैँ. पर आत्मविश्वास की कमी हो.

ऐसे मेँ अगर पुर्ण विश्वास से मन की चाहत निरंतर मन ही मन दोहराया जाये. या अपने आप से बार-बार कहा जाये. तब आप स्व- प्रेरित संकल्प शक्ति से अपनी कामना काफी हद तक पुर्ण कर सकतेँ हैँ और अपना व्यवहार सुधार सकते हैँ। जैसे बार-बार अपनी बुरी आदत बदलने, साकारात्मक विचार, साक्षात्कार मेँ सफल होने, की बात दोहराया जाये तब सफलता की सम्भावना बढ़ जाती है.

ऐसा कैसे होता है?
हमारा अवचेतन मन बहुत शक्तिशाली है. बार बार बातोँ को दोहरा कर अचेतन मन की सहायता से व्यवहार मेँ परिवर्तन सम्भव है. साकारात्मक सोच दिमाग और शरीर दोनों को प्रोत्साहित करतेँ हैँ. इच्छाशक्ति, कल्पना शक्ति तथा सकारात्मक विचार सम्मिलित रुप से काम करते हैँ. पर यह ध्यान रखना जरुरी है कि हम अवस्तविक कामना ना रखेँ और इन्हेँ लम्बे समय तक प्रयास जारी रखेँ.

 Meaning of ॐ….OM

Meaning
​ॐ apart from the normal Om sometimes also refers to as omkara (ओंकार oṃkāra) or aumkara (औंकार auṃkāra). Like Ik Onkar ੴ. Sentences/phrases/scriptures can start from Om ‘ॐ नमः शिवाय‘ or even end at it हरिओम

Some of its definitions:

bhūtaü bhavad-bhaviùyad-iti sarvam Omkāra eva

(What had happened before, what is now and what will be later – everything is just Om)

Sometimes referred to as praṇava, literally “that which is sounded out loudly”.
Sometimes it is defined as “the sound of the universe”
Michael Carroll, dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga. said “It’s big. Om is nebulous, and it’s vague. It can mean almost anything.”

ॐ signifies slew of trios:

The heavens, earth, and the underworld
The Hindu gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva (aka creator god, sustainer god, and destroyer god)
The waking, dreaming, and dreamless states are some of it

Phonetically speaking:

The A (aahhh) sound represents the creation aspect of the universe and all of the gross objects within it. Ahh is the beginning of all sounds. With this syllable you experience the existence of the world through the activity of the senses.

The U (oooh) sound signifies the maintaining energy of the universe and the subtle impressions of the mind. It connects us to an inner sense of something greater than that which we can see and feel with our senses.

The M (mmmm) sound characterizes the transformative energy of the universe and the thoughts and beliefs of your beingness. This sound unites you to the awareness of oneness.

The fourth sound is silence or anagata. It is the vibration which is beyond verbal pronunciation. It is pure consciousness of the Self or the Atman

One of the hypothesis/belief further goes that when we sound om together, we’re aligning body/mind/spirit; we’re aligning with one another; we’re aligning with the universe because it’s the sound of the universe and we’re referencing sometcurve.

1 –This curve represents the waking state.
2 – This curve represents deep sleep or the unconscious.
3 – This curve represents the dream state (which lies between waking and deep sleep)
4- The dot represents the absolute state of consciousness which illuminates
all other states of consciousness.
5 –The semicircle represents माया (or the veil of illusion.) it separates
the absolute from the other three curves.

अब पहले की छोटी-छोटी बातें याद आती हैं।

खुशियों अौ गम के  खेल में यह समझ आया,

ये सब आती -जाती रहती है

नाम -कविता 

खिला खिला गुलमोहर तपिश में मोहरें लूटाता रहा…..

पूरा चाँद,  रात भर  जल कर चाँदनी बाँटता  रहा.

ना पेड़ों ने कहीँ अपना नाम लिखा ना शुभ्र गगन में चाँद ने.

और हम है घरों – कब्रों पर अपना नाम लिखते रहते है.

4 ways yoga can help to reduce stress and ease anxiety

We all know someone who is super into yoga whether it be your friends, your mom, your dad, or your aunt or uncle some people simply swear by it. But why? How does it work?

1. Yoga is calming.

Life is demanding we can all relate. Applying for internships? Awaiting to hear back from that company you would really love to work for? Professors bombarding you with work? Bank account going to shambles? Take a step back. You will gain experience with time, the company will get back to you, your work will get done, and you will succeed if you put the time and effort into doing so. Yoga helps those suffering with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and PTSD by modulating the body’s stress response according to research conducted by Harvard Medical School. Yoga can help to recenter and revitalize both the body and the mind. It helps us to put our focus on the breath instead of internalized thought processes. There are all different styles, forms, and intensities of yoga so chances are you will be able to find one that you feel is a good match for you.

2. Yoga has proven medical benefits.

Yoga has been proven to help those with hypertension and high blood pressure by restoring something called “baroreceptor sensitivity” in the body which is related to your heart rate. Due to this, yoga has been added to many cardiac rehabilitation programs within the United States. It has been also related to the lowering of cholesterol and sugar intake in some individuals. Additionally, yoga helps to increase muscle strength, flexibility, and endurance.

3. Yoga helps you to stay mindful.

It is important to take some time out of each day to take care of your mental health. The importance of taking care of your mental health was first recognized by in 1909 by mental health pioneers Dorothea Dix and Clifford Beers. They believed in advocating for and providing appropriate resources to people suffering from mental illnesses. Yoga will help you to become mentally stronger. The practice of yoga will become easier with time–you will eventually develop a “flow.” Once you start routinely practicing yoga you might find healthy habits like staying mindful to become easier to incorporate into your day-to-day life. The practice of mindfulness will not just help you stay in the present moment, but will also help you to better monitor what you eat, helps with increasing self-control, tone the body, and improve body image.

4. It is a positive outlet.

There are some schools in the United States that are starting to use yoga as an alternative to detention. These schools encourage mindfulness and meditation methods instead of punishing these youths. Since the enactment of this policy, one school reports that there have been zero suspensions at these schools. The children can take their mindful practice home with them which could also positively impact parent-child relationships. Student meditation is also correlated to the improvement of: test scores, information processing, and dealing with stress caused by deadlines. For those with generalized anxiety or social anxiety, I think that attending yoga classes could help you to get out of your comfort zone in a healthy way. If you are very socially anxious, I would recommend going to yoga the first few times with a close friend and seeing how you feel. For those who are struggling with addiction, yoga could help teach you to pause, delay gratification, and return to the present before making harmful choices. Yoga can help people to feel more comfortable within their own bodies and that feeling is unbeatable.

दिल से निकली बाते ही

अक्सर दिल को छू पाती है.

पुराने लोगों से मिलो ….बाते करो …

तो पुराने दिन याद आते है .

बेलगाम   ख्वाहिशें-  कविता 

कुछ ख्वाहिशें बेलगाम उडती,

 बिखरती रहती है हवा के झोंकों सी.

 सभी अरमानों को पूरा करना मुशकिल है,

और  बंधनों में बाँधना भी मुश्किल है.
