कलाकार- कविता Playing with the Placards

It is one of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s shortest, simplest and strongest performances. Appearing in a video just over one minute in length, the actor holds up a series of placards; these read, in succession: “I got a DNA test done. The result showed I was 16.66 per cent Hindu, 16.66 per cent Muslim…”, covering Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism and world religions too. With each placard, Siddiqui wears stereotypical “markers” — a Hindu caste daub, a Muslim sherwani-topi, a Sikh turban, Buddhist robes. At the end, a placard concludes: “When I discovered my soul, I found that I am a 100 per cent artist”. Saying no lines, Nawazuddin’s video says a lot, for it speaks against power at several levels.

बिना बोले,

 सब कुछ,

बोलना भी एक कला है।

हम झगङ रहे हैं,

जात-धर्म, रंग , देश , सीमा……..

जैसी बातों के लिये।

क्यों एक अच्छे इंसान के रुप,

में जी नहीं सकते  हम ?

No coordination between blood banks and hospitals, 6 lakh litres of blood wasted in five years.

New Delhi: Indicating that there is serious gaps in the country’s blood banking system, over 28 lakh units of blood and its components were wasted in five years by banks across India, as per a report.

India, with its population of 1.2 billion people, requires 12 million units of blood annually, however, only nine million units are collected every year. The country faces a blood shortage of three million units. It is said that NCR alone faces a shortage of 1,00,000 units per year.

खून की कमी से,

लोग मर जाते हैं,

कितने इसे खरीद नहीं पाते,

 और हम बड़ी-बड़ी बातें करते हैं,

पर बड़ी-बड़ी बातों का मूल क्या है ?

हमें संभालना  तक नहीं आता है

किसी ने कहा,  इन खबरों को

दिल पर ना ले।

                                                                    यह नासमझी की हमारी,

 

परंपरा  पुरानी है।

जीवन अौर मौत  के बीच झुलते लोगों से पूछो,

इसका मोल क्या है?

पृथ्वी दिवस एक वार्षिक आयोजन है, जिसे 22 अप्रैल को

दुनिया भर में पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए  आयोजित किया

जाता है। इस साल पृथ्वी दिवस ( 2017) का अभियान

पर्यावरण और जलवायु साक्षरता है।

The government has decided to do away with beacons of all kinds atop all categories of vehicles in the country as it is of the considered opinion that beacons on vehicles are perceived symbols of VIP culture, and have no place in a democratic country. They have no relevance whatsoever,” the Road Transport and Highways Ministry said in a statement later.

लाल बत्ती भी क्या चीज है ?

 किसी उच्च पुलिस पदाधिकारी की लाल बत्ती कार

 सरेआम ट्रैफिक रूल को तोड़ती  आगे बढ़ गई।

           इसे भूलना मुश्किल है!!!!!

दूसरी लाल बत्ती  ऑपरेशन थिएटर की,

किसी के ब्रेन ट्यूमर के ऑपरेशन के दौरान 6- 8 घंटे बैठकर,

उस लाल बत्ती को  अनिश्चितता से निहारना,

उसे भी भूलना मुश्किल है!!!!

तीसरी लालबत्ती – रेड लाइट एरिया,

सच्चाई समझना हो, तो इनका दर्द महसूस   करना होगा,

इन  की  जिंदगी क्या है? जानने के बाद,

भूलना मुश्किल होगा!!!!!!

चलो एक लाल बत्ती  तो हटी।

दूसरी लाल बत्ती जीवनदायीनी है,

काश, तीसरी रेड लाइट (एरिया) के बारे में भी लोग सोचें…………

पता नहीं गीता, रामायण, कुरान, बाइबल..

किसने कहा  भगवान अलग-अलग हैं?

लेकिन  लगता है हम उन्हें अलग करके ही मानेंगे!

क्या हम इस सीमा से आगे यह नहीं सोंच सकते हैं कि

हम इंसान हैं.

News, The Indian Express, March 24, 2017--Police had raided red light area in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur. India.

Two women jumped into a pond and drowned, allegedly fearing arrest during a police raid at a red light area in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur on Tuesday, said the district administration.

The victims have been indentified as Shakko and Rachna. According to the police, the incident took place at Pachi ka Nagla village which comes under the jurisdiction of Sewar police station.

 

पंछियों के नगर भरतपुर में,

उसे भी आसमान में  आजाद  परिदें सा उङने  का शौक था।

वह थी सिर्फ 13 साल की,

चाहती थी सम्मान की जिंदगी जीना।

पुलिस की छापेमारी के बाद, उसका शव मिला……..

पानी में तैरता हुआ।

पुलिस ने कहा बचने के लिए पानी में कूद गई थी,

पर रोती माँ,  तन के चोट…..

कुछ और हीं कहानी  कह रहे थे,

 क्या   उन्हें अच्छी जिंदगी जीने की चाह  नहीं हो सकती?

कोठे,वेश्यालय  भी  तो चलते हैं सभ्य समाज की दया दृष्टि से,

 क्या  कभी सच सामने आयेगा?

कर्तव्यों की इतिश्री-कविता

The International Day of Forests was established on the 21st day of March, by resolution of the United Nations General Assembly,  and 20 March World Sparrow Day is a day designated to raise awareness of the house sparrow

(20 मार्च गौरैया दिवस, 21 मार्च अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वन दिवस)

हम जो हर रोज कोई न कोई दिवस मनाते हैं

और अगले दिन भूल जाते हैं।

इस से तो अच्छे हम पहले ही थे,

जब बलखाती नदियां, फुदकती गौरैया,

सरसराती हवाएं और जंगलों की हरियाली

हमेशा सहलाती थी

और हम उसे निहारते  अौर संभांलते  थे।

आज एक दिन  याद  कर क्यों हो जाती है कर्तव्यों की इतिश्री…….???
