जाना और पढ़ा फ़्लोरेन्स नाइटिंगेल /Florence Nightingale का नाम कई बार . पर आज से पहले कभी ध्यान नहीं दिया इस दिन पर. इटली में जन्मीं फ्लोरेंस नाइटिंगेल को आधुनिक नर्सिंग की जनक के तौर पर जाना जाता है।उनके जन्मदिवस के मौके पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय नर्स दिवस मनाया जाता है. आज के कोरोना संकट में नर्सों का योगदान अप्रतिम है.

International Nurses Day is an international day observed around the world on 12 May of each year, to mark the contributions that nurses make to society.

International Nurses Day is organised on 12 May to celebrate the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale. Each year, the International Council of Nurses (ICN) comes up with a theme to honour nurses. For 2020, the theme chosen for International Nurse Day is ‘Nursing the world to health.’
