मेरा नाम लिया या आवाज़ें दीं थीं क्या?
कुछ तो सुना था हमने सुदूर से!
सब कहते हैं, हम खोए रहते हैं अपने आप में,
इसलिये सुनते रहते हैं अनजानी, अनसुनी आवाज़ें।
मालूम है ना ?
इस “अपने-आप” में तुम भी हो,
रोज़ दख़्लअंदाज़ी करते हो।

इन्सान की क़ीमत इतनी कम क्यों है?
युगों-युगों से चले आ रहे रस्मों-रिवाजों को बदल कर,
अपने शरीर का दान करना सरल नहीं होगा.
जन कल्याण के लिए बॉडी डोनेशन करने वाले
इन दधीचियों का ऐसा हश्र ?
इन्सान की क़ीमत इतनी कम क्यों है?
जीवन में और जीवन के बाद भी?
किवदंति – दधीचि ने अपने शरीर / अस्थियों का दान, इन्द्र के अनुरोध पर, लोक कल्याण के लिये किया था। क्योंकि ब्रह्म तेज़, महर्षि दधीचि के हड्डियों से बने वज्र से राक्षस वृत्रासुर का संहार संभव था।
