Nils Olav
A military ceremony in Norway took place to honor a penguin to retire as a Brigadier General in Military Intelligence – Norwegian Army.
He received the rank of brigadier general in the army from the commander of the Norwegian forces, and was received by the highest officers and military played the national peace of Norway. This penguin lived on the Russian-Norwegian border for a year and a half.
He was carrying cameras and other spy equipment, diving to the depths of the water to discover the presence of Russian submarines or any other surprise military maneuvers on the border. He worked as a guard of his country’s borders in climatic conditions.
He retired from work. He was honoured . The Panguin’s name is Sir Nils Olav and he has been promoted as a brigadier. Currently he resides in Edinburgh zoo.
