यह खबर पढ़ कर सभी पक्षियों को बड़ी हैरानी हुई. इंसानों ने रवायत, नियमों को अपने आप पर लागू होते देख बोल पड़े खग – बड़े विचित्र हैं ये ! बिना हमारी कामना जाने हमें क़ैद में रख कर मन बहलाना तो इनका पुराना शग़ल था. पर ये नहीं मालूम था अपने यहाँ के रीत और कुरीति हम पर भी थोप रहें हैं. नर-नारी, नर-मादा के मूल्यों में भी श्रेष्ठता, उच्चता-निम्नता का खेल? इनसे ज़्यादा समझदार तो हम हैं. खुले आसमान में खुला और बंधनविहीन जीवन जीतें हैं.

बिना प्यार के जीवन अपुर्ण है। ये ना पूछो खुद से – कैसा प्यार चाहिए? आध्यात्मिक, भौतिक, दैवीय या सांसारिक, पूर्वी या पश्चिमी … खंङित करने से खंङ, टुकड़ों में बाँटनें से टुकड़े बढ़ते हैं। प्यार का ना कोई लेबल है ना परिभाषा। यह शुद्ध और सरल है। प्रेम जीवन का जल है। और एक प्रेमी अग्नि की आत्मा! ब्रह्मांड का स्वरुप तब अलग होता है जब आग पानी में प्यार होता है।
