Life Is Better When You Are Laughing – on World Laughter Day

(World Laughter Day takes place on the first Sunday of May of every year . The first celebration was on January 10, 1998, in Mumbai, India, and was arranged by Dr. Madan Kataria, founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement.)

Laughter is one of our most basic emotional responses, but we aren’t taught to laugh or even to smile; they occur naturally.

Laughter is clinically proven to have a powerful and positive effect on one’s health and wellbeing. Research states that laughter can be used as an effective strategy when it comes to self-managed health. With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health. However, it is believed that laughter as a therapy is often underutilized.

Laughter offers an array of benefits at different levels in numerous domains.

बस याद रखने की जरुरत है,

पर हम ङूबे हैं झगङे में – धर्म, सीमा, रंग , भाषा……..

हम ऊपरवाले की सर्वोत्तम कृति हैं !

कुछ जिम्मेदारी हमारी भी बनती है।

Mental health is a state of well-being in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.

Mental health shows the level of psychological and emotional well-being. Our behaviour is guided by our mental health at every stage of life. Healthy, sound and good mental health is a boon as it provides the ability to enjoy life. However, mental illnesses are very common these days. According to the WHO, nearly half of the world’s population are affected by mental illness with an impact on their self-esteem, relationships and ability to function in everyday life.

Physical and mental health complement each other: Physical and mental health are closely associated. Recent studies have proved that a number of physical illnesses actually root from a mental health problem. These are known as Psychosomatic problems.
