Laughter Day was first celebrated on May 10, 1998, in Mumbai, India by Dr Madan Kataria, who is also the founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. World Laughter Day is celebrated On first Sunday each year in May to highlight the importance of laughter in our lives.
