नीलम-पन्ना सा !
ब्रह्मांड में बिन आधार गोल घूमता नीलम-पन्ना सा, नीले जल बिंदु सा, यह पृथ्वी, हमारी धरा, हमारा घर है। यह वह जगह है, जहाँ हम सब जीते-मरते और प्यार करते हैं। यह हमारे अस्तित्व का आधार है। हर व्यक्ति जो कभी था जो कभी है । सभी ने यहीं जीवन जिया। हमारा सुख-दुख, हमारा परिवार, हजारों धर्म, आस्थाएँ, महान और सामान्य लोग, हर रिश्ता , हर प्रकार का जीवन, हर छोटा कण, ब्रह्मांड में बिना सहारे घूमती इस अलौकिक पृथ्वी के रंगभूमि का हिस्सा है।
फिर इसकी उपेक्षा क्यों ? ना जाने कितने महिमामय रजवाड़े, शासकों ने मनमानी की, बिखेरे रक्त की बूंदें। क्या यह उनका यह क्षणिक आत्मा महिमा, एक भ्रम नहीं था? क्या बिन इस धरा के, इस विशाल विश्व के उनका अस्तित्व संभव था?
हमारी विशाल धरा, ब्रह्मांड के अंधकार में जीवन से पुर्ण, नाचती एक मात्र स्थान है। क्या है ऐसी कोई आशा की किरण जो हमें जीवन का आधार दे सके? जो परीक्षा की घड़ी में मददगार हो? आज यह पृथ्वी एकमात्र ज्ञात जीवन से परिपूर्ण दुनिया है। फिर क्या यह अच्छा नहीं है कि हम इसका सम्मान करें? नफरत छोड़कर प्रेम से जिये और जीने दें सभी को?

Shocking footage shows the tar-blackened lungs of a chain smoker who was hooked to the killer habit for 30 years. Instead of being a healthy pink, they were charcoal in colour and extremely inflamed from decades of tobacco residue clogging them up.
Doctors from the Wuxi People’s Hospital in Jiangsu, China, extracted the organs after the 52-year-old man, who had multiple lung diseases, died. The video, recorded by the surgeons, has been viewed more than 25million times on social media, with users dubbing it the ‘best anti-smoking ad ever’. It was uploaded by the hospital with the caption: ‘Do you still have the courage to smoke?’

Having joined as Assistant Professor at Banaras Hindu University’s Sanskrit Vidya Dharam Vigyan (SVDV) 11 days ago, Firoze Khan, a doctorate in Sanskrit, has gone hiding for the past few days, switching off his mobile phone too.
On Monday, a “hawan kund” was set up and around 20 SVDV students were sitting on a dharna outside the Vice- Chancellor’s residence protesting his appointment. The protests have been on since Khan’s appointment, for the only reason that he is a Muslim. No classes have been held since he joined the faculty on November 7.

IIT-Madras student’s suicide: Fathima’s father demands fair prob

IIT मद्रास की छात्रा फातिमा लतीफ की खुदकुशी
फातिमा लतीफ (Fathima Latif) के परिवारवाले इसे आत्महत्या नहीं बल्कि हत्या मान रहे हैं. उन्हें आरोप लगाया कि इसमें IIT मद्रास के ही एक प्रोफेसर का हाथ हो सकता है, जो कथित रूप से उसके अलग धर्म के कारण उसके साथ भेदभाव करता था चेन्नई. IIT मद्रास की छात्रा फातिमा लतीफ (Fathima Latif) की खुदकुशी (Suicide) का मामला लगातार उलझता जा रहा है. किसी को ये यकीन नहीं हो रहा है कि फातिमा ने खुदकुशी कर ली. परिवारवाले इसे आत्महत्या नहीं बल्कि हत्या मान रहे हैं. उन्हें आरोप लगाया कि इसमें IIT मद्रास के ही एक प्रोफेसर का हाथ हो सकता है, जो कथित रूप से उसके अलग धर्म के कारण उसके साथ भेदभाव करता था. बढ़ते दबाव के चलते अब कॉलेज प्रशासन ने केंद्रीय अपराध शाखा को जांच की जिम्मेदारी दी है.
The family of Fathima Latheef has alleged that the 18-year-old, who was found hanging in her hostel room at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, killed herself after facing harassment from a faculty member.
A suicide note retrieved from her phone says “her teacher is the reason for her death”, her father Abdul Latheef said at a press meet here on Tuesday.
