Yes Rekha and who would not I too am a big fan of his. After reading forty rules of love which was awesome for me Rumi as a poet is more loved.

यही तो ज़िंदगी का फ़लसफ़ा है रेखा जी जिसे समझ कर दिल को मायूसी से बचाना हर एक इंसान का फ़र्ज़ है अपने लिए क्योंकि उम्मीद का दामन थामकर ही ज़िंदगी को जिया जा सकता है । जो बात प्रकृति का सनातन सत्य है, उसे मानव-जीवन पर भी लागू मानने में ही भलाई है । बहुत पुरानी फ़िल्म ‘बूट पॉलिश’ का गीत है – ‘रात हुई, फिर दिन आता है, इसी तरह आते-जाते ही यह सारा जीवन जाता है’ । इसी गीत का एक भाग है – ‘तू बढ़ता चल, तू बढ़ता चल; तुझे रुकना नहीं, तुझे झुकना नहीं; घबरा नहीं, कहीं तेरी है ज़मीं’ । सैकड़ों वर्ष पूर्व इंग्लैंड के प्रसिद्ध धर्मशास्त्री एवं इतिहासविज्ञ थॉमस फ़ुलर ने कहा था – ‘रात का सबसे अंधियारा भाग प्रभात के ठीक पूर्व ही आता है’ (The darkest hour is just before the dawn) । यानी जब जीवन का बुरा समय अपनी चरम सीमा पर पहुँचता लगे तो समझिए कि अच्छा समय अब आरंभ होने ही वाला है । जब दिन सदा नहीं रहता तो रात सदा कैसे रह सकती है ? उजाले के बाद अंधेरा और अंधेरे के बाद फिर से उजाला; सुख के बाद दुख और दुख के बाद फिर से सुख; यही तो सृष्टि और नियति का क्रम है ।
