Sanskrit transcript:
ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ।
ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥
Transliteration:
oṃ asato mā sadgamaya ।
tamaso mā jyotirgamaya ।
mṛtyormā amṛtaṃ gamaya ।
oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ॥
Hindi translation: परमात्मा, हमें असत्य से सत्य की ओर ले चलो, अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर ले चलो, मृत्यु से अमरता की ओर ले चलो । ॐ, शांति (मुझ में), शांति (प्रकृति में), शांति (दैवीय शक्तियों में)॥
English translation: O Lord, Lead us from the unreal to the real, Lead us from darkness to light, Lead us from death to immortality, Om! peace, peace, peace!
