अब तो लगता है ऑफिस में काम करने से ज्यादा अच्छा है ,
बच्चों की तरह चार पैरों पर घूमते रहना,
हम खबर बनें, दुनिया में हमारी तस्वीर बँटे।
इससे तो हम बहुत ज्यादा अच्छे थे,
जब हम बच्चे थे……….

झगङे बढ़ जाते हैं, मामला वहीं का वहीं रह जाता है।
वैसे तो नहीं पता ये इंसानियत को कितना याद करते हैं?
पर हर पाँच साल पर रिजर्वेशन-आरक्षण का खेल खेलाते हैं।
कभी भारत- पाक भँजाते हैं।
छींटाकशी, टीका-टिप्पणी, आरोप- प्रत्यारोप, एक दूसरे की टाँग खिचाईं में मस्त,
अँग्रेज ‘ङिवाइङ ऐंङ रुल’ का गुरुमंत्र दे गये।
बरसों बीते, अरसे बीते …………
मुद्दा वही पुराना हिट है।
मजे की बात है पक्षी आज भी जाल में फँस जाते हैं,
काश कुछ ऐसे मुद्दे होते –
स्वस्थ प्रतिस्पर्धा, देश के उज्जवल भविष्य की बातें,
हमें यह लगता – अरे ! इस बार हम छले नहीं गये।
सुप्रसिद्ध हस्तियों की तरह, जुर्म करने वालों की ऐसी खबरों को क्या महत्व दिया जाना चाहिये?
सब जानते हैं कि
शादी ब्याह बराबरी वालों में होता है .
फिर क्या हम नासमझ है?
आप कुंडली मिलाते हो ,
रिश्ता करने से पहले .
हमने भी क्रेडेंशियल मिलाया है .
दोनों परिवार को जुर्म के क्षेत्र में एक सा पाया।
तब ऐसा सम्बंध बनाया है .
तब तो समाचार बन नाम कमाया है .

A woman and her two sons died in Nepal because of a tradition in which women are exiled from their homes and forced to live in huts during menstruation.
Many menstruating women are still forced to leave their homes and take shelter in unhygienic or insecure huts or cow sheds until their cycle ends. The custom — called “Chhaupadi” — continues in many parts of the majority Hindu Himalayan country, especially in the western hills.
