Pushkar  Fair,  2-11 November

In November, each year  at the time of the Kartik Purnima / full moon,  this event takes place. Its famous for colourful tribal gathering , temple of Lord Brahma -the creator,   snake charmers, fortune tellers, dancers, musicians, magicians, tourists, photographers, campers, artists, puppeteers, entertainers and holy men, all under the auspicious autumn full moon.

Here thousands of traders descend with countless camels, horses and cattle to sell or to buy.  Pushkar Camel Fair is one of  Rajasthan,  India’s most interesting  travel experiences.  It is the  great traditional fair/  mela.

नवंबर में, प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक पूर्णिमा  के समय यह मेला लगता है। इस मेले का आकर्षण है रंगीन आदिवासियों के झुंङ , भगवान ब्रह्मा का मंदिर,  संपेरे, नज़ूमी, नृत्य- संगीत, जादूगर, पर्यटक, फोटोग्राफर,   कठपुतली नृत्य, आदी की भीङ। यहां हजारों व्यापारी अनगिनत ऊंटों, घोड़ों और मवेशियों को बेचने या खरीदने के लिए आते हैं। पुष्कर ऊंट मेला राजस्थान,  भारत  का  एक परंपरागत मेला  है।
