Dear Rekha,
I made a difference between myself and my Self and expressed this in my poem below. Myself is ego and is outside oriented while Self is inside oriented and is united with all, like the drop of the Ocean. Myself separates as Ego, is duality, but my Self is my higher Self in me…
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and words, dear friend.
All the best
From heart to heart
Didi
Believing in your Self, in my Self
I don’t believe in myself
But I believe in my Self
Between myself and yourself
Mine and thine
There is a vortex
A hidden shrine
Lost and burried
Sand of mind
Noone seemed be worried
Eyes so blind
Possessive hands
Feed the ego
Separating ourselves
From our Selves
You are me
And I am you
So I don’t believe in myself
As I am your Self
So you don’t believe in yourself
As you are my Self…

Thanks Didi for explaining such a meaningful and deep thought . Its so nice of you .
There is a Rumi’s quote , it says the same thing — you are me and I am you .
You made it do clear. I am really . . . . really thankful buddy.
Welcome, my dear Rekha 🙂
That is the merging into Oneness. So Christ that also: “I and my Father are one”, Paulus said so too and many competent Gurus as well. It is also said: As we think so we become and when one thinks the day whole of the Beloved One – he adopts His colour and is getting One with Him. Dr. Harbhajan Singh, Gurmukh of Sant Kirpal Singh also wrote a book: “Forever one”
So smart and philosophical !!
