      2. i completely agree with you. but you are missing the biggest one Atut – Political scenario. i don’t think there was any big riot took place in India before divide and rule policy of Britain.

      3. yes race and caste motivated politics also matter. British definitely are to be blamed for their share of evil in India but many Indian social evils like caste system predate British arrival and have resulted in much more killing, exploitation and oppression over a period of time. best wishes.
