Well because of youtube I would say its a simple process. When you have your own website the positive aspect is that every you create is 100% owned by yourself, so this will mean any money you make is all kept to yourself. One negative aspect is that it will be harder to bring in more traffic to your page because you dont have the help of wordpress 🙂
