Asteroid, Nearly as tall as Burj Khalifa, to Whiz Past Earth Today, Warns NASA
Washington DC: NASA has warned that an asteroid, as tall as the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa, is set to whiz past Earth at a speed of 23,100 km per hours on September 14.
The asteroid 2000 QW7 is between 290 metres and 650 metres wide and is almost 828 metres tall.

Researchers are using drones to study the Amazon rainforest’s health
Researchers from Harvard University are using drones to better understand the Amazon rainforest. With drone-based sensors, the researchers hope to determine the unique “fingerprint” of different rainforest ecosystems. That could help them monitor the health of the forest and understand how it’s responding to climate change, deforestation and fire.

हिन्दी – एक वैज्ञानिक भाषा
Hindi -A scientific language.
यह गर्व की बात हैं कि हिंदी हमारी राजभाषा अौेर मातृभाषा एक वैज्ञानिक भाषा है. इसकी विशेषताएं हैं –
1. जो लिखते हैं ,वही पढ़ते हैं और वही बोलते हैं.
2. उच्चारण सही हो, तब सुन कर लिख सकते हैं.
3. वाक्य सम्बोधन बड़े या छोटे के लिये अलग अलग होते हैं. जैसे आप ,तुम.
4. वाक्य शुरू करनेवाले विशेष अक्षर ( capital ) नहीँ होते.
वैज्ञानिक कारण –
अक्षरों का वर्गीकरण, बोली और उच्चारण के अनुसार हैं. “क” वर्ग कंठव्य कहे जाता हैं , क्योंकि इसका कंठ या गले से हम उच्चारण करते हैं.बोलने के समय जीभ गले के ऊपरी भाग को छूता हैं. बोल कर इसे समझा जा सकता हैं.
क वर्ग
क, ख, ग, घ, ङ.
इसी तरह “च ” वर्ग के सब अक्षर तालव्य कहलाते हैं.इन्हें बोलने के समय जीभ तालू को छूती है ।
च, छ, ज, झ,ञ
“ट” वर्ग मूर्धन्य कहलाते हैं. इनके उच्चारण के समय जीभ मूर्धा से लगती है ।
ट, ठ, ड, ढ ,ण
“त ” समूह के अक्षर दंतीय कहे जाते हैं. इन्हें बोलने के समय जीभ दांतों को छूता हैं.
त, थ, द, ध, न
“प ” वर्ग ओष्ठ्य कहे गए, इनके उच्चारण में दोनों ओठ आपस में मिलते है।
प , फ , ब ,भ , म.
इसी तरह दंत ” स “, तालव्य “श ” और मूर्धन्य “ष” भी बोले और लिखे जाते हैं।
हिंदी की जननी संस्कृत ने इसे विशेषताओं से भर दिया है । वाक्य के शब्दों को आगे पीछे करो, फिर भी अर्थ वही होता है । अर्थ वही होता है शब्दों को आगे पीछे करो । ना कैपिटल लेटर्स के झमेले ना स्माल लेटर की, ना एक्सेंट या ऊच्चारण सिखने की। ऐसी वैज्ञानिकता है हिंदी भाषा में।

बहते-बहते हम विचारों की
उस दुनिया में पहुँच जाते हैं,
जहाँ से लौटने में अपने को
जगाना पड़ता है……
फिर भी लौटने में वक़्त लगता है…

Color-changing smart skin is nothing new, but scientists have had a hard time working out the kinks. Current smart skin is fragile and buckles after being exposed to varying temperatures. To help remedy that problem, scientists turned to analyzing detailed videos of chameleons’ skin. This helped them develop a far more resilient take on this tech, which shows a more promising future for color-changing gear.

जिंदगी के किताब के पन्ने,
हवा के शरारती झोंके से,
फड़फड़ाते शोर मचाते पलटते देखा।
खूबसूरत नाजुक, लम्हे फिसलते देखा,
बेइंतहा इम्तिहानो से जिंदगी को गुजरते देखा,
जरूरत के वक्त रिश्तो को बदलते देखा,
पुराने फीके, पीले पन्नों जैसे फीके पङते यादों को जी कर देखा।
बस इतना ही समझ आया –
कभी समय नहीं गुजरता और कभी-कभी समय नहीं ठहरता।
और वक्त गुजरने में वक्त नहीं लगता।
Hubble space telescope finds water vapor on ‘Super-Earth’ exoplanet
NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has discovered water vapor in the atmosphere of a distant Earth-like exoplanet known as K2-18b.
The planet is located about 110 light-years away in the Leo constellation, according to a press releasefrom NASA about the exoplanet. NASA says K2-18b resides in a “habitable zone,” which is “the region around a star in which liquid water could potentially pool on the surface of a rocky planet.”
