मुरली प्यारी है या मोर मुकुट?
विष्णु के अष्टम अवतार,
देवकी के आठवें पुत्र,
अष्ट पत्नियाँ– रुक्मणि, जाम्बवन्ती, सत्यभामा,
कालिन्दी, मित्रबिन्दा, सत्या, भद्राऔरलक्ष्मण को
राधा को, मीरा को, गोपियों को,
कान्हा क्यों सभी को अच्छे लगते हैं ?
मुरली प्यारी है या मोर मुकुट? या स्वंय केशव?
कोई नहीं जान पाया…..
बस इतना हीं काफी है – वे अच्छे लगतें हैं।

Courtesy Wikipedia-रसखान (जन्म: १५४८ ई) कृष्ण भक्त मुस्लिम कवि थे। उनका जन्म पिहानी, भारत में हुआ था। हिन्दी के कृष्ण भक्त तथा रीतिकालीन रीतिमुक्त कवियों में रसखान का अत्यंत महत्त्वपूर्ण स्थान है।

Go not to the temple to bow down your head in prayer,
first learn to bow in humility before your fellow men.
Go not to the temple to pray on bended knees,
first bend down to lift someone who is down trodden.
Go not to the temple to ask for forgiveness for your sins,
first forgive from your heart those who have sinned against you.

फ़िज़ा में !!!
सोन्धी-सोन्धी ख़ुश्बू बिखर गई फ़िज़ा में.
कहीं बादल बरसा था या आँखें किसी की?
कहा था –
ना कुरेदो अतीत की यादों को.
माज़ी…..अतीत के ख़ाक में भी बड़ी आग होती है.

वन-वे राहें
आदतें भी बड़ी अजीब होतीं हैं.
इनमे भी नशा वाजिब होते है.
ना कोई वायदा, ना लौटने के इरादे.
ना जाने कौन सा अनजान सफ़र अौर राहें.
मालूम है, वे हैं वन-वे राहें.
मालूम है दरवाज़ा खड़का होगा हवा से,
मगर उम्र कट रही है इंतज़ार में.
