मोबाईल के छुट्टी माँगने के भयंकर सपने से जागते ही मैंने उसे अपने कलेजे से लगा लिया. अब  वह हमेशा मेरे दिल के करीब रहता. शर्ट के ऊपर के पाकेट में उसका आशियाना बन गया.

इतने पर भी मेरे दिल को  तसल्ली नहीँ हुई.  मोबाईल के छुट्टी पर जाने की कल्पना से अक्सर दिल डर से धड़कने लगता. लोगों ने कहा धडकी की बीमारी हो गई हैं मुझे. बड़ा टोना टोटका चला. किसी ने हौलदिल पहनने  कहा. मैं  सीधे डॉक्टर के पास पहुँचा.

दिल का हाल अच्छा नहीँ था. मुझे सख्त आराम का निर्देश देते हुये मेरी दुनिया और मोबाईल से मुझे अलग कर, अस्पताल में भर्ती कर दिया गया.

वहाँ सचमुच मुझे बड़ी शान्ति और सुकून मिला. ना बार बार की घंटी की आवाज़ ना उसे चार्ज करने का तनाव.

घर वापस आ कर  बार बार बजती मोबाईल मुझे बड़ी नागवार गुजरी. तभी मेरे मोबाईल ने बड़े व्यंग से पूछा – क्यों , अब समझ आया ? क्यों मैं छुट्टी माँग रहा था? या फिर से अस्पताल जाने और डाक्टर को पैसे देने की मर्जी हैं ?
  

 (हौलदिल – संग यशब नाम के चौकौर पत्थर के टुकडे   पर कुरान की  एक विशेष आयत खुदी  रहती हैं. इसे रोगोंबाधा  दूर करने के लिये पहना जाता हैं.)
