शाम हो चली थी

हवा थी कुछ नशीली सी .

तभी ……

पत्तों के झुरमुट के बीच से झाँका

धुआँ धुआँ सा, आँखों में नमी लिए शाम का सूरज

गुलाबी लाल किरणों के उजाले के साथ.

पूछा हमने – किसे खोज रहे हो ?

कुछ कहना है क्या ?

कहा उसने –

आज की शाम तो पूरे चाँद के नाम है .

उसी पूर्णिमा की चंद्रिका के इंतज़ार में हूँ .

जाते जाते एक झलक दिख जाए.

सदियों से यह क्रम चल रहा है.
