India’s ‘Unicorn’ producing gathers pace, 8 new startups join club in 2018

India is producing Unicorns at a pace not seen before. In 2018 alone, eight new start-ups joined the coveted Unicorn club, a group of companies that are valued over $1 billion individually.

Sum Bora, 28, slipped on Sunday while trying to retrieve his flashlight which had fallen in the small rocky hollow.
Bat droppings – guano – are used as fertilizer and sold for supplementary income by poor farmers, who sometimes try to attract bats to their property.
His worried family began searching for Sum Bora when he didn’t return after three days, Cambodia’s Fresh News reported.
His brother found him and alerted authorities to his location in the Chakry mountain jungle in the northwestern province of Battambang

Town where no boys have been born for 12 years offers reward to next mum to have a son
A reward is on offer to the next couple to give birth to a son after no boys were born there for 12 years.
The Polish village of Miejsce Odrzańskie is now under scrutiny from experts to see if there is a deeper rooted issue or if it is just an anomaly.
Head of the local (mostly female) volunteer fire brigade Tomasz Golasz said: It has been going on for several decades. I came to the village, took a local girl for my wife and we had two daughters.
‘I would like to have a son but it’s probably unrealistic. My neighbour also tried and has two daughters. I don’t think women give birth to boys here.’
Mayor Rajmund Frischko has been looking through the village’s history to find out if there has been a similar incidence in the past, according to The First News.
