What to EAT :

Thyroid patients must contain following 3 things in their regular diet.

1. Salad – Salad mainly made from cucumber, onion, carrots & sprouts. (sprouts – boiled for 5 minutes )

2. Boiled Vegetables – In this mainly eat boiled potatoes, sweet potatoes, cluster beans, drumsticks like food. This will add up good nutrition for patients.

3. In main meal regularly eat brown rice with different types of dals.

Cooking oil – use coconut oil ( most preferred )

Other requirements in diet are..

Vitamin B – Get it through 1 or 2 glass of milk or 1 or 2 cup of curd which is high in protein, vitamin B & selenium.

Vitamin D – Add mushrooms in diet.

Dry fruits – Mainly walnuts – helps to decrease stress level.. and tension.

Someshwar Wadi temple Pune सावन में सोमेश्वर महादेव

Beautiful Heritage Swayambhu Someshwar temple of Pune was built with black stone in 1640 by Shivaji for his mother Jijabai.

पुणे के इस सुंदर विरासत स्वयंभू ( स्वंय भुमि से निकला शिवलिंग) सोमेश्वर मंदिर को 1640 में शिवाजी ने काले पत्थरों से, अपनी मां जिजाबाई के लिए बनाया था। वह वहाँ नियमित रुप से पूजा करने आती थीं।

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे
सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्
उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्
मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ॥
Om Try-Ambakam Yajaamahe
Sugandhim Pusstti-Vardhanam
Urvaarukam-Iva Bandhanaan
Mrtyor-Mukssiiya Maa-[A]mrtaat ||

Meaning:
1: Om, We Worship the Three-Eyed One (Lord Shiva),
2: Who is Fragrant (Spiritual Essence) and Who Nourishes all beings.
3: May He severe our Bondage of Samsara (Worldly Life), like a Cucumber (severed from the bondage of its Creeper), …
4: … and thus Liberate us from the Fear of Death, by making us realize that we are never separated from our Immortal Nature.
