Tropic of Cancer

The imaginary line, the Tropic of Cancer is the circle marking the latitude 23.5 degrees north, where the sun is directly overhead at noon on June 21. When the sun is overhead, the long shadows of objects at sunrise start becoming smaller and smaller. Finally the shadow is smallest. That why this zone is known as Zero or No shadow Zone.

   Tropic of Cancer, passing near Ujjain, MP India.    Tropic of Cancer passes through 8 (Eight) states of India. they are Gujara, Rajasthan, MP, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tripura and Mizoram.
