शुभ विश्व हिन्दी दिवस: 10 जनवरी Happy World Hindi Day :10 January

  1. Hi Rekha, I am reading a book by Veera Hiranandani, about a girl who keeps a diary to her mother you passed at the girl’s twin brother’s birth. Taking place in 1947 when India was freed from the British, being divided into two countries Pakistan and India, since they are Hindus they have to embark a dangerous journey to cross the border. It’s a fascinating story , how the girl views the entire happening.

    1. Thanks for sharing the book review. It’s great Carnelia. I would love to read the book.
Yesterday I met a lady in the temple of Shirdi, a town in Maharashtra. It’s known for spiritual leader Sai Baba, she told me a horrible and heart touching story/ real description of her grand parents who shifted to India in 1947.
There are lots of such true incidents .

      1. Oh, my pleasure , dear Rekha, I ordered this on Amazon , used book for just a few dollars. I have heard of Sai Baba, yes I know there are heartbreaking stories out there and I am always very interested to read and learn about those peoples destinies. Finally I looked up where you live, close to the world known Poona, where Osho had his Center, I have read about it a lot too. Wish you a great week.

Yes, Pune/ Poona is famous for Osho meditation centre. It was more popular when Acharya Rajnish was alive.
